FEMA Specialists Offer Rebuilding Advice at Home Stores

Columbia, MO – June 30, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Mitigation experts from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency will be at home improvement stores in four cities to offer free rebuilding information and answer questions about how to strengthen property against future storm and flood damage.

Mitigation advisors will be on hand at FEMA information booths at these locations:

Mitigation advisors can provide valuable information about mold and mildew cleanup, electrical systems, furnaces and other appliances. There is also expert advice about how to reinforce structures against high wind and flooding. Information on flood insurance and free publications on a variety of rebuilding and safety topics will also be available both in English and Spanish.
