Single Family Housing Holding Steady During Winter Months

Single family housing permits remained steady during January 2014 according to the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s (HBA) monthly Residential Building Permit Statistics report. With 283 single family units, January was relatively unchanged from the December 2013 count. January 2014 did continue the trend of outpacing every year since 2007 in its monthly total. Multi-family permits are off to a strong start with 538 units permitted in January

Builders Invited to See the Latest Products at Trade Show

While the Home Show gears up for the consumers, HBA members will host a trade show for builders to see the latest and greatest products from local suppliers, Friday, March 28, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Bartle Hall. This sidebar to the Home Show is in tandem with a host of education opportunities being offered to builders at no charge

Missouri Legislative Day Set for March 5: Register Today

Under the statewide organization, the Home Builders Association of Missouri (HBAM), KCHBA members from across the state will travel to Jefferson City on March 5, 2014 for face-to-face meetings with their elected representatives. The event provides KCHBA members with the opportunity to learn more about legislation impacting the home building industry, build relationships with their elected representatives and network with fellow HBA members from around Kansas City and the state.
