Blunt Appoints Bradford to Missouri Housing Development Commission
JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Matt Blunt has appointed Stephen (Cale) Bradford (R) to the Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC).
“I am very pleased that Cale Bradford has agreed to accept this appointment to the Missouri Housing Development Commission,” Blunt said. “Cale will make a great addition to the commission as they work to address Missouri’s housing needs and work to improve efficiency and transparency.”
Cale Bradford, 36 of Perryville, is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Pyramid Home Health Services. Mr. Bradford holds an associate’s degree from Mesa College in San Diego, CA. His appointment is subject to Senate confirmation for a term ending on October 13, 2011. Mr. Bradford replaces Anne Butler Schmidt who resigned.
The Missouri Housing Development Commission makes investments in rental housing developments, preservation of affordable rental housing, home mortgages, home improvement loans, grants to neighborhood housing groups and other housing programs. MHDC functions as a bank, providing financing directly to borrowers or through a network of private lending institutions.
