Nationally-Recognized Speakers Will Lead Classes on Marketing and Negotiation Skills – Friday, September 6

WASHINGTON, D.C. – August 22, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — The HBA’s Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) will host a special education event at the Fall Home Show, Friday, September 6. Come learn top strategies for negotiating contracts and marketing your business. The cost for each class includes a ticket to the Fall Home Show. Pay $75 to attend both classes and receive a year-long membership to the HBA’s Sales and Marketing Council. Here’s your schedule:

Morning Coffee – 8:30 – 9:00 a.m.

Perfect Your Negotiation Skills – 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Fall Home Show, Overland Park Convention Center

Beverly Koehn, a nationally-recognized speaker and industry expert, will teach strategies for specific negotiating situations and help you develop the skills to get the results you want with customers, employees, subcontractors, suppliers and government officials. The cost is $35 with light refreshments included. Receive two hours CE credit for KCMO. Application pending in JOCO for CE credit.

Sales and Marketing Strategies for the Building Industry – 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Fall Home Show, Overland Park Convention Center

David Miles, a marketing expert and President of Miles BrandDNA, and Joel Cox, Director of Digital Strategies at Miles BrandDNA, will teach you top strategies to market your business, generate and qualify sales leads and close sales. You will also learn top strategies for marketing in the digital age. The cost is $35 with lunch included. Receive two hours of CE credit for KCMO. Application pending in JOCO for CE credit.
